What the Heck Is Going on With Apple TV?

good question. we use ours all the time for rentals, but if there was every a system that needed an app store this is it. Or just acquire Boxee and call it a day. Either way, they have a huge market opportunity since most set-top devices suck balls (DirectTV, looking at you!)

I couldn’t agree with you more. Apple is missing out with what they can do with this box. I just wish they would work out some deal with Netflix to allow video streaming.

I understand that the AppleTV doesn’t have the processing power to decode the web video streams, but I’m sure they have a less demanding transcoded video feed that Roku and Wii are (will be) using.
