Music + Technology + Random Nonsense from the Music Industry by Ethan Kaplan, VP Product, Live Nation

New Look(?)

I wanted Widget support and support for the iPhone application, so I had to upgrade WordPress, which broke the old BRG theme. This is a temporary theme, possibly. I have some ideas for what I want to do with it, but you know, ideas and free time seldom mesh.

The other thought I had is going Drupal with BRG and integrating the Activity Stream module and some other things, making BRG as much a blog as a parallel entity to my normal online activity.

Thoughts?

  1. As much as I enjoy using Drupal and ExpressionEngine and other CMS for bigger projects, I still think WordPress is probably one of the best things to use for a single blog. It’s fast, it’s easy, it’s less of a pain. That’s my opinion, anyway. It’s more tailored to blog content than site content.

  2. I haven’t played with Drupal in awhile– but for something as simple as a blog it seemed like getting out a circular when all I needed was a swiss army knife.
