I'm skeptical that Indigo + iPhone would really make a dent in the market. I suppose it's really cool for us iPhone folks, but I don't think people are going to rush out to get it. Plus, even as an iPhone and Harmony owner, I kind of prefer that separation. I enjoy that I have a kickass remote in my living room that doesn't go anywhere. I don't want to pull my phone out of my pocket to change the TV channel. It reminds me of a few years back when I had my Palm Pilot loaded with some software that used the IR to do the same thing. It was pretty unnecessary, inefficient, and I was certainly doing it more for the geek factor of having one device than anything else.

In other news, despite the fact that clearly this new feature requires your iPhone to maintain a connection with your computer over wifi, wireless syncing remains missing from the featureset. Here's to a couple more years of USB2?
