Oh forgot…
June 20th was my 3rd anniversary of me at Warner Bros. Records.
Time does fly! Three years ago I was just leaving academia after a few years off from corporate world work, and totally green walking into the 3300 building.
It has been challenging, fun, educational, sometimes frustrating and often rewarding. I have worked with the smartest people I know, and for two of the smartest people I’ve ever met.
And I went from Director to VP, so I did something right I suppose.
Here’s to three more!

My name is Mouhamadou, and I have been reading your blog for two weeks now. I am writting you this message in order to ask for advice. I have graduated with a bachelors two years ago (International business and MIS). I am have acquired experience in customer service as well as in IT. I have a strong interest in music (i understand how the business works etc…) Given your experience, I was wondering if you could give me advice as of what is the best way to break into the music industry. I am trying to gain experience in the new media (digital music, internet etc…)
