Facebook’s iPhone App - Digging through the code from Facebook’s iPhone App it became very clear why they hired Joe Hewitt, who wrote the excellent IUI javascripte framework. The Facebook app is based off his work with IUI, but does some interesting things IUI didn’t. Namely, what I noticed in the CSS is that there is unfettered use of Safari 3/CSS3 specific features such as opacity, text drop-shadows, etc.
