Warner Music: why do you fund this crap? « Scobleizer: Warner Bros. Records is a subsidiary company of Warner Music Group. I work for Warner Bros. Records. We release records. Get off the playground Robert and do some research before you make accusations in the Blogosphere. I use technology to share my passion for music with the greater populace. I fund and help develop open source software through that. I feel honored for you to take your indignation out in such a misdirected fashion, it proves a lot about you.

  1. I think we all have to remember that 1)the world’s not a perfect place; 2)most of the people in big companies don’t even know what other people in the company are doing; and 3)It doesn’t make much sense to have arguments over email and in writing where only part of the person’s message can be perceived.

Robert blew off; you clarified. He apologized. I love both of you because you are both coming from a good place. And I agree with you about Gnomedex; it was my first one, and I think it ALMOST got there.

I’ve had most of the top blogs in my reader for about a year now. I still don’t understand why this Robert dude is popular. He worked at MS or something? His blog sucks and his opinions are usually uninformed. 60 minutes? Oh yeah, they don’t sensationalize news at all.
