Thanks for that, Ethan.

If nothing else, it tells me that I need to do some deeper research into Drupal before making a rash decision. Appreciate it!

Drupal over Joomla is easy: its object based, and not as tied to a strict three tiered content organization scheme as Joomla. That means that it is not a CMS, but an application framework, which makes it much easier to abstract and adapt into any implementation scheme.

Hey Ethan,

I've been reading your blog for some time now, and you've got me interested in Drupal. I've been using Joomla successfully for a while, and when I compare features I don't find much to make Drupal seem all that (comparatively) spectacular... but maybe there are music-site-specific modules etc that I'm not seeing?

If you're familiar with Joomla, could you comment on one versus the other?

Much thanks,
