Web Strategy by Jeremiah » Facebook to supplant email?: I posted this a while ago, that we have found our e-mail blast strategy was hurt by MySpace and kids not using e-mail so much. However, the trend seems to be reverting slightly because of Facebook’s dependence on e-mail (more so than MySpace), as well as the proliferation of mobile messaging through Blackberry’s, Sidekicks and iPhones now. Facebook is not going to supplant e-mail, but rather improve it (just as it does SMS). But, for the love of god, can we quit the Facebook histrionic articles?
