I forgive him. Most normal people do have sexual feelings towards another and are hard to control sometimes. I blame her for the temptations.
Typical “leader” considering them above the laws they make. I say NO more free meals for congress, NO more free limo rides let then take the bus, NO more special privliges for USA’s biggest criminals – congress (the oppisite of progress?). How dare he use “God” and Privacy of his marriage as a wall to hide behind, ask fogiveness what a crockpot full of ****.
It’s time to seriously address the epic problem of corruption in politics. The time for hair-splitting debate is over. Our government was created to work for the American people. It is no longer functioning reliably, primarily due to the excessive corruption of elected politicians and the unethical, often illegal practices of corporate business. While all of us sin at some point in our lives, our elected officials should always be held accountable for their mis-deeds because they represent us. They should no longer be allowed to compromise their promised ethical service or sacrifice our trust for personal gain. They only serve at our, the American citizen’s discretion and should be swiftly removed from their post when they fail by breaking the law. Participation in prostitution is not only a sin, it is illegal. Therefore, more is at stake here than Senator David Vitter’s immorality. His confession to God and his family may have been met with their forgiveness, but he still broke the law and should be held accountable. It’s time to stop using a double standard when passing judgement on the common people vs. more tolerant manipulative methods applied when “handling” the malfeasance of the affluent. When this is allowed, the law ceases to work or matter. The same laws should apply to all, from the Commander-In-Chief to every individual on U.S. soil, without exception. It’s time to get tough on failed, corrupt civil servants who use their office for private gain. It’s time to halt the propagation of wrong-doing on Capitol Hill and “Clean House”. This is truly a critical non-partisan effort that can no longer be ignored. We have that power and that responsibilty.
