New audience metric needed: engagement Â« Scobleizer – Tech Geek Blogger: not to give Scoble more linky-love, but an interesting point on how to measure what essentially amounts to a combination of latent height, awareness, interest and flocking behavior. What this amounts to of course is a combo of active audience with persuasive messaging. Engagement if you will, or proximal awareness, or whatever you want to call it. My interest in this is if you can figure out an equation to quantify engagement given sufficient data sources.
