Spent the day…
I spent the day working on a project plan that is like Murmurs.com x 116. Exactly. And now its coming up on 10:30PM and I’m about to head to the gym, cranked up on energy drinks, metabolism pills, caffeine and my own sick desire to punish myself with a few miles of running.
So a few thoughts on a Sunday night, after spending a day doing project specs:
2) The Adsense Dashboard widget is evil indeed.
3) Should I put Adsense on BRG? It gets more “targeted” traffic than Murmurs and probably would turn in more revenue.
4) Tally Hall is an amazingly great band. The new Mission of Burma single is indeed amazing as well.
5) I find too many things amazing as of late.
6) I am lecturing in my favorite class on the planet tomorrow: Kip Fulbeck’s Art 7A – the Intersection of Art and Life. I TA’ed this class three times (more than anyone else I think), and almost ended up teaching it during the summer twice. It’s modeled after Art 111 (Structure of Art) at UCSD, which was my favorite class there. I used to be best friends with my TA from Art 111, but we had a falling out over my wedding. Anyhow. Art 7A is the class among all classes, and was the thing I looked most forward to in the school year at UCSB.
I am lecturing on the concept of Space, rock concerts, consumer generated content and the flattening of implied hierarchical relationships as wrought by the Internet. All in dulcet and entertaining tones.
That’s all I have for tonight. I have something to announce tomorrow morning dealing with the day job (a mighty cool phase 2 of a site already talked about here), and also I think I might be redesigning this site with the help of some 9rulers.
One final thing: if the Macbook is indeed released on Tuesday, I will be very very intrigued. I love my 12″ Powerbook, but the G4 in it is not making me a happy camper. I don’t need the full power of a Macbook Pro, and a 13″ little thin Mac type thing would make me happy.
