CNN.com – Giant C-5 military jet crashes in Delaware – Apr 3, 2006: Holy fucking shit. Look at that airplane. The thing split along both front and back support struts. If you know anything about the C-5 (which I do, because I’m autistic evidently), the thing has among the strongest wing-roots of any airplane in the world, hence you see the entire mid-section is intact. It also has 28 wheels in its landing gear, FYI.
